Common Areas of Volunteer Service at Mercy:
- Volunteers are often needed with specific event projects conducted in the Development Department.
- There are many fundraising events every year and plenty of areas to volunteer and support Mercy at these. (For example –The Franklin Classic, The Angels of Mercy Dinner, The Christmas Party, etc.)
- There is also a Children’s Library located in the Clinic that exists for children to have the chance to take a book home with them after every visit. The library can become easily disorganized, and it is common for a volunteer to spend time organizing the Library for our kids. This is also a great place for volunteer groups to get involved with their community by conducting book drives and collections for this area of the clinic.
How to Become a Volunteer
1 – Review the Volunteer Policy Manual.
2 – Fill out a Volunteer Application Form.
3 – The Volunteer Coordinator will contact you after she receives the application form.
*Note: We do not currently have a need for medical volunteers (such as working directly with patients, or being a nurse assistant), but we are glad to place those with such experience in other areas of our mission. Thank you!
