In July 2001, I knew immediately after entering the MCC building that I wanted to become a part of this ministry. I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit here. As I read the mission statement, I was reminded of how being here would help me grow in sharing God’s love and building relationships. I stand firmly on my belief that I was lead here by the Holy Spirit (I’ll be happy to share that info if asked). I graduated from Royalton Hartland Central High School in Middleport, New York. Joined USMC, completed Administrative Correspondence School in Camp Lejune, NC. Attended Metro-Public School of Practical Nursing (Licensed). I worked at the Veteran’s Medical Center, Nashville, TN, Williamson Medical Center, Franklin, TN, and Precision Cardiology, Franklin, TN. God has blessed me with a very devoted husband, Walter, who is also Pastor of Franklin Primitive Baptist Church, on Mt Hope Street. God is so good! Our church is over 130 years old. Our membership consists of a faithful few. We know that God’s in the mist and he honors faithfulness. Walter and I have a wonderfully blended family with 9 children, 17 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Most of them live here in Middle Tennessee. God is love. My favorite scripture: I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Philippians 4:13 |
