| About | “My family and I recently returned from a 2-year term doing medical missions work at the Diospi Suyana Hospital in Curahuasi, Peru, where we served the Quechua people in the Andes mountains. We were greatly blessed by the Lord during our time there and hope to return for short-term trips frequently.Having worked at Mercy Children’s Clinic prior to our departure for Peru, I am very thankful to be back at Mercy again. It is wonderful to share our experiences of God’s presence and provision for us while in Peru with the family of Mercy and see everything that God has done and is doing here.Invaluable to me is the support of my wife, Laura, and the love of my two daughters, Alexandra and Sofia. We also excitedly await the birth of our third child in August.I am most thankful for the Lord Jesus Christ, my savior. My hope and prayer in all I do is to glorify God. An integral part of this purpose in my life is reflecting His love through my service to the patients and staff at Mercy. |

Phillipians 3:7-14: “7But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ. 8More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ, 9and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith, 10that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death; 11in order that I may attain to the resurrection from the dead. 12Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus. 13Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, 14I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. “ |
